PDO has come within reach of focusing on improvements to the rural and urban community through models of participatory practices among individual and structural empowerment; the objectives of economic wellbeing, environmental sustainability, and socio-cultural vitalization can be met and targeted to its desired set established goals.

By looking at an overview of the entire training and development processes and using case studies, the PDO has these courses making community workers to work the field of community development and illuminate how all of the training and development efforts fit together to support the overall goal of community based training/development as its sustainability of long course.

Participatory Integrated Community Development (PICD): Participatory Impact Monitoring (PIM). Local leaders and management skills (LLM) Local leadership and management skills (LLM): Financial Management Training (FMT)

PDO has numerous community facilitators intended to train both urban and rural communities and undertake work in the field of stable and secured community environments with a new community level institution with research and practical activities in the communities’ areas.

The qualified trainers not only facilitators at community level, but also have various experiences like baseline surveyors, health workers, field workers, administrators, work supervisors, financiers, monitors/evaluators, and projects’ implementers at first stage up to final stage of the projects’ cycle. The Community Facilitators were trained with PICD, PIM and LLM approaches to undertake in their communities building on these training experience/tools so as to enabling community to act according to their norms and values in improvement of their livelihoods and embraces hospitality, unity, caring about others and running an extra mile for the sake of the community through education of life patterns. The PICD, PIM and other tools can be applied to the community setting as grassroots’ levels
